Review bombing and extortion
Under attack right now? Start here.
A wave of one star reviews overnight, or a message demanding money to make them stop. Don't pay, don't reply to them, and send us the link. We file Google's extortion report the same day.

The first hour
Three things not to do.
The instinct is to fix it quickly. These are the moves that usually make it worse.
Don't pay
Paying tells them it works. There's no way to make them keep their side, and businesses that pay are often asked again.
Don't reply to them
Not by message, email or in the review replies. Keep everything they sent, unedited. It's evidence.
Don't post angry replies
Customers read them long after the fake reviews are gone. One calm public note is enough, and we can write it.
What we do
Google has a separate route for this.
Most owners only know the flag button. Google also runs a report for reviews posted as part of an extortion attempt. We file it the same day you send us the case, with the evidence laid out.
- We file Google's extortion report with the messages and timeline.
- We report each review in the wave under the policy it breaks.
- We post one calm public reply so new customers can see it's being handled.
- We follow up with Google until every review has an answer.

What to send us
Everything they sent, nothing edited.
The more we have, the clearer the report. Screenshots are fine. Send what you have now and add the rest later; don't wait to gather it all.
Use the case form, or email hello@reviewremoving.com with "Attack" in the subject line.
Pricing is the same as any case: £100 for each review Google removes, and nothing for any that stay up. Nothing upfront.
- Your Google business link
- Links to the reviews, or roughly when they started
- Screenshots of any demand: email, text, WhatsApp, social media
- The sender's name, number or account, exactly as shown
- Anything you know about why: a refused refund, a dispute, a former employee
- The best number to reach you today
Your safety comes first
If you feel threatened, call the police.
Demanding money with menaces is a crime. If anyone threatens you, your staff or your premises, call 999 in an emergency or 101 otherwise. You can also report it to Action Fraud. We handle the Google side, and we're happy to share the evidence pack we prepare with you for any police report.
Not an attack, just one review you think breaks the rules? Check it here. Want a daily watch so an attack is spotted early? That's part of managed reviews.
